About Ember Tutoring
Ember Tutoring is a free tutoring program dedicated to supporting middle school and high school students in grades 2-12. Our passionate team of volunteer tutors offers personalized assistance to help students overcome academic challenges and reach full potential. How It Works
At Ember Tutoring, students meet with our team at the Columbus Metropolitan Library – Gahanna Branch for personalized, small group sessions. Each session (30 minutes to 2 hours) focuses on the four core subjects: Math, English, Science, and Social Studies. We also have ACT/SAT Prep!
Your first meeting includes a simple placement test to find your strengths and target areas for improvement. Progress is measured by homework (50%), quizzes (30%), and a final assessment (20%), helping you grow with every session!
